These multi-decade indexes represent the combined work of Robert and Lois Hodge and Midge Vittoria.

The Hodge Indexes were compiled by the Hodges and encompass local Virginia newspapers from 1788 through 1981. We have completed processing the beginning of the alphabet and will post more as our print-to-Web conversion is completed.
